Mission Statement
International College of Auckland ( ICA ) provides quality education which enables students to optimize their potential and become internationally competitive in the market place.
Support, Development and Achievement
ICA offers a unique education environment that focuses on individual development and achievement. We believe that quality teaching, a supportive environment and multi-cultural experience provide a framework for the success of individuals. We recognize the potential of each student and the contribution they will continue to make to society at a local and global level. Our curriculum includes a variety of education programmes that will pathway students toward both local and international opportunities in business, employment and higher education.
At ICA, we inspire students to discover and apply their intellectual and creative potential and contribute responsibly to societies and cultures. Our students learn to reason, adapt, innovate, communicate and develop so they can respond to the rapid changes in the modern workforce and society.
ICA presents a wonderful opportunity for students to learn in a modern and stimulating environment. With the best interests of our students' futures in mind, we have been working closely with stakeholders and relevant organisations to create opportunities for students in each of our 5 school departments, including: ICA School of Horticulture, ICA School of Business, ICA School of Computer studies, ICA Early Childhood department and ICA School of Languages.

In 2001, ICA was chosen as the strategic alliance by Waipareira Trust, New Zealand's largest Maori Trust. In 2003, ICA became a member of Public Trust, the leading government trust which guarantees the safety of school fees for all the students of its member educational institutions. In 2004, ICA became the only New Zealand school which purchased business insurance from the People's Insurance (Group) Co. of China. In 2005, ICA successfully set up memorandum of understanding with the New Lynn Library to work in collaboration with Waitakere City Council. In the same year, ICA entered into an agreement with New Zealand's leading agriculture enterprise Asia Pacific Agriculture Corporation boosting ICA's expertise in the area of horticulture education.
