• Accommodation guarantee: - required from all U18 students and that the accommodation is compliant with COP. INZ require a statement which says: The student’s accommodation is compliant with the Coe of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students.
• If students study a NZQA approved 2 year diploma and one year is studied offshore that students studying that diploma will not be eligible for a work Visa. Further work required.
• NZQA is also looking at closer controls on the minimum language levels for courses – agreed equivalent assessments (eg school test) may not be acceptable.
