On 20 February 2007, International College of Auckland signed an agreement with the University of Auckland to set up the International College of Auckland PhD Scholarship in Plant Sciences in University of Auckland. International College of Auckland has donated $60,000 to the University of Auckland Foundation to fund the Scholarship.
