Aim of course:
To provide students with skills, knowledge and competence to undertake a broad range of business activities and to carry out a mix of specialized operations involving a degree of self directed work and the supervision of processes of people.

• Understand Strategic Management concepts and Organisational Planning
Entry requirements:
• IELTS of 5.5 overall or equivalent
• Minimum age 16 years and over with a pass in NCEA Level 2
Course Details:
Length of Course: 38 weeks including holidays
Class Timings: Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
Course Structure
To be awarded the National Diploma in Business Level 5 students must be credited with a minimum of 122 credits at level 5 or above from the National Diploma in Business unit standards. These credits will be forwarded to the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. The Diploma is awarded by New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) which is internationally recognised.
The teaching will be through a mixture of theory teaching and practical learning using a range of learning methods such as projects, written exercises, case studies, simulations, open and closed book tests, and presentations.
The course:
• takes 35 weeks to complete
• Students are expected to attend classes for 20 hours per week and to engage in 15 hours self-directed study outside those times.
